Welcome To My Website!

This "rated G" website deals with the subject of transvestism for those who are interested.

Lorraine Kimberly Adams

Hi Everyone!
I started this website on 27th Feb 1999. I just updated this website June 9th, 1999 with this new picture that was recently taken during the Be All Convention. That's my new human hair wig, recently cut by Eric of Frank & Eric Hairdressers and Styled by Rachel of Rachel's Wigs & Beauty Salon. Makeup was done by Lisa of Transformations By Rori. Hopefully in the very near future I will be adding more pictures for your enjoyment. I would like to add a page on my crossdressing adventures for those interested in stories like that. I just have so much to say! *giggle :-)

Greetings from Phoenix, Arizona!

Something About Me and Crossdressing (Transvestism)
I am a heterosexual transvestite. What does that mean? I am a heterosexual man that enjoys wearing women's clothes and having the appearance of a female. This phenomenon can also be described as crossdressing. I do not seek to have sex with another man but to enjoy the femininity of women. At the same time I truly enjoy my heterosexuality. I have no intention of changing my sex. This is strictly an issue of gender. I am married to an extremely wonderful woman who understands and supports my need to dress up as a woman. I must admit that my wife is not exactly crazy about the fact that I do dress up like a woman but is still supportive. This can be explained in this comparison. My wife may not be exactly excited about the fact that I like jumping out of airplanes to skydive but she is supportive. I have been dressing up as far as I can remember, probably since the age of six. Only my wife, an exgirlfriend, and other crossdressers and their wives know about my crossdressing. It has been said that only ten percent of the men that crossdress are homosexual. I belong to a local chapter of Tri-Ess called Alpha Zeta. It is an organization designed for crossdressing heterosexual men to get together and fellowship. We have meetings once a month, discussing anything under the sun that has something to do with crossdressing. We sometimes go out afterwards to a public restaurant and have dinner. Some of the "girls" like going to the local clubs to party afterwards. You can find out more information on Tri-Ess by going to www.tri-ess.org. I hope you like my pics. I had this picture with the sequin gown taken by my lovely wife the evening of January 1, 1999. I just got back from a crossdressing friend's home. He (Monica) and his wife had me over for a New Year's party. Another lovely couple (Brittney) were also invited. We all wore our pretty party dresses. I wore my makeup in a festive style, a style I normally don't wear. Speaking of makeup, I just love wearing makeup. It still amazes me what makeup can do to alter the face. You would not believe what I look like as a man. There is quite a big difference. As a man I look in the mirror and think my face is too washed out and that I need some color. I especially love applying lipstick. Lipstick is so feminine. You will not ever see a masculine man apply lipstick for the sheer pleasure of applying it. I have no idea why I'm crazy about lipstick. I just love it! I love wearing it! I love the array of the beautiful colors expecially the mauves and purples. There's a book called "Read My Lips: A Cultural History of Lipstick" which I find very interesting to read. It's written by Meg Cohen Ragas & Karen Kozlowski. I have observed that there are two kinds of women; women that love to dress up very feminine and women that could care less. I have a gut feeling that if these women who dress up ultra feminine were men they would have been transvestites. It's just a thought. By the way, I must warn you. This is my first attempt at a website with some success.

Major Crossdressing Events I Have Attended
I have attended some major crossdressing events in this country. My first major event was I.F.G.E./California Dreamin' 97 in Long Beach, California. I must say that this was quite an eye opener for me. I thought I died and went to crossdressing heaven. The next major event was Southern Comfort Conference in Atlanta, Georgia. I actually lived as a woman for three whole days. The boy clothes were tossed in a corner of my hotel room that weekend. It was an amazing experience to live as a woman for three days. Touring in the city of Atlanta was one of my highlights. The girls and I were accepted as real women at The Coca-Cola Museum, The Hard Rock Cafe, and a shopping tour of Lenox Mall. I can't say enough good things about this conference. The best thing about SCC 97 was meeting my sisters Kathryn Taylor, Hope, and Beverly Haven in person for the first time. I also attended Texas T Party (sadly the last one) which was held February of 98 in San Antonio, Texas, the home of the Alamo. I definitely will not forget that wonderful weekend. Another highlight was meeting my dear sisters like Livia, Michele, Beth & Jackie, and Karen. October of 98 I returned to Atlanta for another SCC Convention. June of 99 I had the chance to attend the Be All Convention in Cleveland. My friend Stacie B. Haven and I shared a room at the hotel where the convention was held. We had a blast! I also met up with my other girlfriend Beverly Haven, a fun girl to hang out with. I've also gone on my own or with other friends on shopping trips. I've been to Yosemite Park as a woman. Nobody paid attention to me because the sites were the attention getters. I actually blended in with the crowds. During the Be All Convention, Bev and a friend of hers invited me to go shopping in a nearby mall. A saleslady at J.C. Penney's thought I was one of her regular customers. She talked to me for a couple of minutes telling me that I had the same facial features and hair color like her other customer. I used my best fem voice possible. At the time she had no idea I was a guy dressed as a woman. It was a very exciting moment in my life. I also visited the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame as a woman. My friend Stacie offered to go in DRAB (DRessed As a Boy) and be my date. It was a fun afternoon for both of us.
