| I've never seen so much cheese in one place!
All over the city you can buy a platter of cheese, filled with several
samples. Carry your plate into a "brown café", order a coffee or
something to drink and enjoy yourself!
When we were there in June, there were huge black-red cherries and red strawberries for sale at several of the street stalls. What a delight! I also bought my cheese slicer with white-and-blue "Delft" handle in Alkmaar and will never forget the charm of this city. (Picture: Marlene)
