Back on the People Mover again, and this time on to the Spanish Car. (By this time it was around 7pm.) The Spanish Car is a kind of cable car, taking you from one point to the next over a kink in the river. There is a whirlpool below the car that you look right down into while swinging slowly and noiselessly onwards and over. The ride takes about 10 minutes.

The car has been running for 81 years, and never had an accident.

We waited in line once more, and finally went on the cable car. Unfortutately we were in the middle, not against the side, but I think the video we took will turn out well enough. We also took some pictures. Arno held the digital right out over the side of the car, hoping to catch some of the swirls below.


The colour of the water is unbelievable!
