Picnic in High Park, Toronto
Held by our ISP, Idirect
We only had to take ourselves - what a priviledge! All the food and soft drinks, as well as entertainment for the kids, would be provided by Idirect. In exchange we had to take some food that would be donated to the needy later.
The park is beautiful.
Solid old trees, soft green grass .... and lots of seagulls begging for bits of food! We really enjoyed being there, and relaxing in the shade.
First stop for the boys was of course to get some fancy balloons from one of the clowns!
This clown, when asked to smile, retorted that she didn't want to. So I told her to look sour ....
As you can see, she decided to smile after all!
On the left is Theo with his missing front tooth and Jaco is on the right.
Almost all the children were walking around with very fancy painted faces - regular works of art.
Theo wanted to be an alien and Jaco was a "sad clown" - we thought it was very well done.
