Elsewhere on one of these sites there are already pictures of our visit to Wasaga beach, but these pics have not been added before.

Once again, we are eating and discovering new things!
This time it was Beaver tails - a wonderful thing, especially with maple butter on it .... hmmmm!

It looks as if they enjoy feeding all the hungry tourists.
The tails are fried in deep oil when you order them, and the wonderful smell is enough to make anyone drool.

Rest assured - as you can see here, Beaver Tails are just a kind of pastry, stretched out to resemble the big, flat tail of a beaver. Then it is topped with anything of your choice - cheese, cinnamon sugar, maple butter ... you name it!
We couldn't get enough of it - and if you are interested, there is a recipe on the next link.
