This section is going to be a bit thin because I'm sure that unless you don't know me this section may not be that interesting, and those of you that DO know me probably know most of this stuff!
What do I look like?
This is basically what I look like when I am dressed up. I have also been seen quite frequently in button-downs, polo shirts, and the occasional T-shirt. I am well known for wearing my famous Ray-Ban Wayfarer II sunglasses which have become a personal trademark of sorts.
I like my seasons cool and I'm aware of the irony that the southern United States is HOT but I'm (slowly) getting used to it. My favorite food is pizza or anything Italian which is funny because I am of Scottish ancestry. I like science fiction and love to read.....there are novels scattered throughout the house so one is always handy. My taste in movies leans toward action or adventure and I also like a lot of the classics too. My television is usually on one of the movie channels, CNBC, or CNN, but there are a few network shows such as NYPD Blue or Sports Night that manage to get my attention.
My tastes in music are wide but don't get into the extremes: being a Gen-X'er I like classic rock, alternative, and some techno and country. The top CDs in my changer right now are The Eagles, Bush, Bryan Adams, Sarah McLachlan, and Everlast. I also listen to classical and even some romantic country songs, but not songs about broke trucks and crap like that. Opera took me by surprise: were it nor for a very special girl I may have never discovered that I actually like it. "Swan Lake" as performed by the Kirov Ballet in Birmingham, Alabama was incredible. I hope to eventually make it to the symphony 'someday' !
I like to be organized so I can find things without having to look, but that doesn't stop my computer area to occasionally become organized into little 'project clusters'. Eventually I do get to all the projects though so it works out.
I like thunderstorms, cool nights, and good blaze in the fireplace. I love cheese!
