Big Ron Atkinson Appreciation Page

Big Ron Stats:

Born with a full head of hair in 1920, big Ron was immediately baptised into the world of football at the age of 11 with a hatrick in Preston North End's 5-0 drubbing of West Rainton Albion in the 1933 FA Cup final.

Bald at the age of 14 he decided to retire into football management and began his lifelong quest to manage every club in the english football league.

An ambition which he achieved at the age of 51, he put it down to years of hard work and sunbed usage.

Big Ron's celebrity status has led him to star in big productions such as Record Breakers before Roy and he was once offered the National Lottery show, (allegedly). Of course we all know and love him for his football commentary nowadays, the subject of our next table.

Big Ron Quotes
