Yasmine Bleeth was born on June 14, 1968 in New York City, New York. She is the daughter of a French/North African (Algerian) model named Carina and a Russian/German photographer named Philip who runs a business that rents vans to fashion photographers for on-location shoots. He now is Yasmine's business manager. Her name Yasmine (which should be pronounced as yes-MEEN) is the Arabian version of Jasmin (JAZZ-min) and refers to the name of a flower. Her parents separated early and Yasmine was raised by her mother, but she kept on seeing both parents. When she got the age of 18 her parents were divorced and Philip got married again. This resulted in two sons named Tristian and Miles which are actually Yasmine's half-brothers. During her schooldays Yasmine attended the United Nations International School in Manhattan New York and she was educated bilingual, since her mother was a French/North African. Although she was very popular among the boys, the girls were always beating her up, because she flipped her hair too much. According to some sources the real reason was because she took every boyfriend away from them. In contrast to many others Yasmine was a popular girl the moment she was born. She did commercials when she was only 6 months old and she starred in her first movie at the age of 12. While others were playing musical instruments or were going to ballet Yasmine was doing modeling work. Yasmine graduated from high school, but she was already doing soap operas at that time. After a few years of soap the show was canceled and a few months later Yasmine, then about 21, lost her mother who suffered from breast cancer. After Carina died Yasmine went into little things. She stayed home watching cooking shows all the time and she turned down offers for eight months. Then she met Ricky Paul Goldin, a soap actor who helped Yasmine out of the blue and she decided to do another soap opera. The two lived in Manhattan, but after Yasmine went for Baywatch she moved to Los Angeles. She and Goldin were planning to get married and the wedding invitations were all made up, but the marriage was called off as Yasmine has become more of a celebrity. Due to her role as Caroline Holden on Baywatch Yasmine has been offered many roles and it gave her the opportunity to make her entry in the film business. She has done a few "made for TV" movies and is now moving onto the big screen. Beside acting she is continuing modeling, but she refuses to pose naked, though she has had many offers. At this moment Yasmine lives in Los Angeles with her dog Elvis (named after Elvis Presley). Although she has had many boyfriends and she has dated a lot of high-profile guys, like Grant Show, Luke Perry, Ricky Paul Goldin and Richard Grieco, she still hasn't found the right one to marry yet. | Pic From Some Magazine | ||||||||||||||||

At the age of 12, Yasmine was cast opposite Buddy Hackett in the feature film Hey Babe. Bilingual, Bleeth attended the United Nations School (UNIS) in New York City, where she continued modeling and acting. Ghosts May Kiss is the result of a collaboration between 1993 Venice Film Festival winner, director Mauro Borrelli and producer Jeff Kirshbaum. Yasmine has definitely became a multi-media woman. She completed a full-motion live action entertainment CD-ROM titled Maximum Surge (Digital Pictures) directed by award winning special effects wizard, William Mesa (Oscar nominated for the box office blockbuster, The Fugitive.)
