Hello and Welcome

This is where I'm gonna tell ya a lil history about me
This fine looking lil guy is Cash and yes he is my son. He is a Moms lil dream come true! He is a great kid most of the time he is a kid so he does have his moments. He has his own horse Shorty and rides darn good.
And I suppose this would be me. I am 32 and have Thoroughbred racehorses. I have been around horses all my life usually thoroughbreds but did go to quarter horses for a short period of time. My Dad Had always been in the horse buisness and his dad and so on and so on The black cat stable started with my great great uncle his theory was if the horseswent to the lead then the black cat on the back of the silks would bring everyone else bad luck and we would win the race. Worked quite a bit I have to admit! and every once in awhile it still works!
Well this is our barn We have T-bred racehorses. I know its not a very good pic but hey what do ya want from me? I promise whenI figure out what I am doing I will make this sight better! Just be patient! LOL!! IN THE MEAN TIME IF THERE IS ANYTHING YA WANT OT TELL ME OR SUGGEST YOU HAVE 2 OPTIONS EITHER E-MAIL ME OR SIGN MY GUEST BOOK!! THAT WAY AT LEAST I WILL KNOW YA VISITED!!!

All about Me

Hello and Welcome

Now I'm gonna tell you a bit about me and my life if ya wanna know or not! Just kidding

So sit back relax and listen to my problems for a lil while would you? And when your done reading about me take a lil time and sign my guest book and tell me about you!

Wwell this is me and Cash on his 8th birthday May 7th 1999

CCash is my son and he is a great lil guy. He is now 8 yrs old and full of himself! He has always come up with some good stories and I'll tell ya about some of them.
When he was 3 yrs. old I was introducing him at a horse sale to some friends and I told them his name and he looked at me and said yeah but tell them my real name Mom I kinda looked at him and said well what is it Cash? And he just said "The Manipulator" We all just started laughing and til this day I have no idea where that came from .

One day we were all playing a board game where ya had to guess answers and the question was what was the worst thing you ever stole? Well I'm thinking to my self Cash's should be easy to guess I know my son hasn't stole anything keep in mind now he is only 6 yrs old too! well the first answer was nothing ,the second was a cd tthe third makeup and so on there was 10 of playing well I guessed almost all of them right except for Cash's his answer was He stole a lolipop from a baby. Some peoples Kids!

Cash also has a really big heart. He is always worried about little baby rabbitts or turtles that he finds., or caterpillars or worms he just has to bring them in the house other wise he says "Mom those other kids will hurt them " He has good logic but Not in my house I tell him! He worries about people not having enough friends and that sort of thing. Ok I guess I should talking about him. But hey I am a proud MOM!

Well where do I begin? From the beginning I guess. I was born in Las cruces New Mexico 30 some years ago. And well since that time I have caused mom and dad a lot of headaches!

We had Thoroughbred racehorses and still do. So we traveled quite a bit and if it wasn't bad enough just growing up on the race track I also was into rodeo. I still don't know which is worse but they are both fun and You meet the best people in either case just a bunch of good ol down to earth people! And them are hard to come by nowadays. So I am very thankful for my life and the way I was brought up.Wouldn't change anything for the world.

In school home was my time and I didn't have time for homework. When I got a lil older heck I didn't have time for school. They could never keep up with me and I could out run the truant officer so I think he finally gave up. Haha Sorry bout his luck. But I always managed to have really good grades so that was the bottom line! And yes I would Take off at 4:00 in the morning to go to a rodeo in Reno or wherever the people knocking on my window were going. Mom and Dad soon learned that I would be back home in a couple days ! But I usually got a good ars chewing when I came back home so I soon learned to write a note! I never got into too much trouble or at least we didn't get caught.

As time went on I soon began to grow up well not really but I fake it well ! I will never grow up or get old! Although I do take my responsiblities serious that s a bout all I take serious! I love to laugh and have a good time I don't care if I'm sitting home alone or with a bunch of people something can make me laugh.I enjoy hanging out with my son and going fishing or anything outdoors.

Well Life was going great and the horses were doing good then Mom had a stoke one day back in June of 1998 and she was in Icu and just when ya think things can't get any worse I took dad to get results for some tests that he had done and low and behold he had cancer. Well that was a real blow to me! My mom and Dad had always been the most important people in my life. So Dad made me promise not to tell mom about the cancer till she was doin better so I didn't and boy was that hard to look mom in the face and lie. Well I can honestly say I never looked her in the face those couple days. When mom got home me and Dad told her the news and she was crushed too!Dad didn't last too much longer after the news of the Cancer . He passed away in August but I tell ya he was a tough ol boot heck 2 weeks before he passed away we had a colt that no one wanted to get on guess they were scared so Dad just shook his head and jumped on the colt! Well the colt had a whole new attitude after Dad got done with him! haha

Well things change and so do we all! not a day goes by that I don't think of dad but we must go on as he would say! wouldn't want no one feelin bad bout him! The best feeling was when I was reading a magazine and seen his obituary and the opening line was Racing lost one of the best horsemen of all time!

<giddy up
ok go back home! Mine that is
