I have suffered with Psoriasis for many years, as a kid I had a few spots which where basically controlled with ointment or creams Etc, but about 20 years ago it became full coverage, about 85% - 90% after I suffered a trauma with burns, 1st and 2nd degree to a lot of my body.

Through the years I covered up and hid, I was not able to go to the beach or the local pool because of the way I was treated, I was discriminated against in a lot of ways especially at work, I was suspended from my duties by a large Security Company in Sydney Australia and told that I could not return to work unless I obtained a Doctors certificate stating that I was not contagious or that I was not a threat to anybody's health that I worked with. There is a well know large shopping complex in Sydney that treated me the same way, they contacted my employer and asked if it was safe to have me around. The one that hurt the most was the Doctors, they used to examine me but were afraid to touch me, but when they did it was like they were trying to pick some thing out of boiling water, they were so careful, these were the people that were supposed to know better.

Relationships weren't that good either, it would be fine until my skin was seen then you never hear from them again, there were a few people that I could call friend and after 20 years they still are very good friends.

So, what's my point, well, of all the introduction sites that I have seen none of them mention Psoriasis, not that I would really expect them too but, if most people with Psoriasis got treated the same way as I did, I would welcome a site that catered for people with "P", whether you are interested in friendship, long term or short term relationship, just to talk to someone in your area, or to find out what helps and what doesn't, married or single there would be no bad treatment or discrimination amongst other "P" sufferers in such a site, so I thought I would give it a go and see what the response was like, if it picks up in a couple of months I will keep the site up, if not I will find some other use for the site, your input would help this site.
