Love
Pure real true love
How ever it
is found
Should be felt
Good or bad
Cause from this comes our ability
To see through the fake to the real
With each pain we go through
We find some comfort in knowing
That is one pain we wont look for again
Instead we are one step closer
To finding the one real true love
The one that God meant us to have
But we never take the time
To build and not take it for granite
Love is built
As well as tore down
Only we can make it good
Only we can ruin it
Takes two to love
Takes two to hate
Build a love beyond real
Not allowing the bad in
Never letting down the fight
Takes work on both parts
We are our worst enemies
We never let love go through its motions
We are afraid of the pain
But the love would be so good
If the person would only see
What they are doing
Allowing love to grow
Takes fertilizing and caring all the time
Lots of sunshine and rain
With the good comes the bad
But we have to be able to see the bad
As growth and not let it hold us back
Love could shine through
But not unless you let it
Build from the bad make the good even better.
