Adam Richard Sandler was born Sept 9th 1966, in Brooklyn and raised in Manchester, New Hampshire. Adam was always known as the "class clown". Adam was seventeen when his brother spontaneouly made him go up on stage at a Boston comedy club. He had no urge for comedy before that, but after that he was hooked. Adam use to blame all his trouble on "his twin" Richard. His mom kept two pics of him in the same frame, I guess it confused him, and he called the other his twin, Richard. Adam attended New York University, earning a degree in Fine Arts. He still did clubs through college . He gained a spot on the Cosby Show as a friend of Theo Huxtable, that was his first gig. Later he was recruited the stand up world, Via Mtv's remote control and landed a spot on Saturday Night Live first appearing in the 1990/91 season. Adam was on SNL for 5 years writing and performing , his main characters are; the "Cajun Man", "Opera Man", "Canteen Boy", "Herlihy Boy and "the host of the Denise Show". As his experience grew , he expanded with the release of "They're all Gonna Laugh at You" in Sept 1993. Adam recieved the grammy nomination, spending over 100 weeks on the billboards heatseekers listing alone. The most popular songs on that album are, "Lunchlady Land", "Thanksgiving Song" and the "Buffoon". At the same time, his film career started with small cameos in "Shakes the Clown" and "Coneheads". Followed by Co-starring roles in "Airheads" and "Mixed Nuts". Then he finally got his first starring role, in which he also Co-wrote, "Billy Madison". Then came "Happy Gilmore", then "Bulletproof", then the "Wedding Singer" and finally the "Water Boy". He then also released "What the Hell Happened to Me." Inluding the Hits: "the Chanukah Song", "the Goat", and "Mr Bake-O". Then this last year, Adam released "What's Your Name?" Including the hits: "High Lonesome Kicker", "Red Hooded Sweatshirt" and the "Goat song" As for Adam's Latest record. "Stanley and Judy's Kid" and is due in stores in September. The album consists of songs and comedy skits. At first his mother was very iffy about her name being part of the title, but she if fine with it now. . | ||||||||||||||||

As you know Adam Sandler is one of the BEST comedienne's in the world, I love it when he works with Chris Farley (another great) and Steve Buscemi (craziest one alive)Who is also acting a smaller part in "Big Daddy". Obviously Billy Madison is my all-time favorite movie. I seen it today, June 25th 11:20AM, Obsess much? Yes, I do. Dylan/Cole are Extremely Cute...well not as cute as Adam, but very Close. I laughed and cried tears...GO ADAM.... FINALLY.. Adam is Co-writing a new comedy called "Little Nicky" due out in 2000. I guess we will find out! Thanks for visiting my site, and come back. I'll keep you updated as much as possible. :0)~ UPDATE 1/19/99: Sandler To Be Tooned Adam Sandler’s box office success has given the comedian enough power that he can take some unusual chances. In particular, Sandler is now developing an animated film for Columbia/Sony Pictures featuring a toon version of himself, according to Variety. Sandler personally pitched the idea to the studio and will produce the film with his partner, Jack Giarraputo, as well as providing the voice for his own character. As yet, there are no details of the film’s story or a screenwriter attached. Columbia is said to be intent on getting the film into production as soon as possible given the time needed to create an animated film. Odds are that Sandler will be able to do his voice work even as he works on the previously announced New Line Cinema project "Devil-and-son" comedy, Little Nicky, is due out by 2000.
